Meet Dr. Tiffany Wind
I am fascinated by how people become who they are. Even as a (nerdy) kid, I loved books about child development and stories about helping people heal. I followed this passion into a study of psychology.
I am a seeker and a healer at heart. I help people find their innate gifts and their own paths to healing, discovering inner power they may not have known they had. I believe all people are worthy of love and respect. I actively work against racism, sexism, ableism, trans and homophobia, and other forms of discrimination.
I started my academic career pretty poorly as a kid, but my love for learning helped me overcome my learning issues. I went to Pomona College, with time at Oxford University (Phi Beta Kappa, Cum Laude, Sigma Xi science award). I received my master's and doctorate at University of Colorado Boulder in a joint program focusing on child clinical and developmental psychology. I completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, where I completed my studies "with merit". I have taught graduate school, worked with social services and mental health centers and at the Child Development Center of the Children's Hospital and also at the JFK Center for autism and developmental disabilities.
When I am not at work as a psychologist, I love to learn and to create and connect with others. Please feel free to contact me to get a sense of who I am and how I work.
